Product database

Set up and access details such as price bands, manufacturer barcodes, associated products and inventory levels. Print barcode labels and shelf edge tickets from this screen, with the option of adding prices if you wish. Also view reports on historical purchasing, sales, profit information, and current stock levels at each store and warehouse. You can insert multiple suppliers and multiple selling prices on this screen if they differ from store to store.

Each product is allocated to a sub-group within a department. It has a bar code, an internal code and a supplier's stock code. There is space for an 80-character report/A4 invoice description and a 20-character receipt description. The system allows you to set VAT code, purchase pack size, selling quantity and the purchase and selling prices. You can also set up the minimum and maximum stock levels with reorder quantities, so that NPoS raises suggested purchase orders.
