Point of sale

Due to the graphical design of the point of sale screen, it is extremely simple to use. If an error is made, the action will either be disallowed, or the screen will suggest an alternate action. Once all the products have been scanned or keyed in, the method of payment can be selected from the list down the right hand side of the screen, which includes cash, cheque, credit card and vouchers/account card. NPoS is Chip & PIN compliant with most major banks.

Quantity sales
There are three ways to sell multiples of a single item:

  • Repeated scanning
  • A quantity key, which when pressed prior to scanning allows you to input the total number of items. The system then works out the total
  • The repeat key which when pressed repeats the last sold line

'Hot key' facility
There are occasions when a product range is of such low value that it does not warrant a barcode. NPoS allows the creation of unlimited 'hot keys' with unlimited levels, under which you can have multiple products.
