In 1992 Nisyst sold its first EPoS solution. Although at that time, it was a DOS based solution, it was very feature rich and gave clients a fully integrated head and back office solution. In 2000 Nisyst released NPoS for Windows version 5. This product was sold and continually developed until 2005,when, with a major re-release, to version 6, which included the ability to now set up a “Web Shop” and full multi-channel capability was released, and this is the version that is available today.
Some of our clients have been using our solution for over 15 years. This we feel is great testament to our solution.

NPoS is a client server based EPoS solution, optimised to work with the Microsoft XP Operating System. With its easy-to-use graphical interface, NPoS is simple to master, even for a beginner to the EPoS arena. You can be assured of a product that is extremely stable, very scaleable and designed to be future proof.
NPoS is designed to run on both touch screen and keyboard driven EPoS hardware. Due to its build design, it is not hardware dependent, therefore sometimes allowing you to make continued use of existing EPoS hardware and/or peripherals.
NPoS within store works in a Master / Slave environment with the option of using a separate Back Office PC, or using the any of your tills as a Back Office.
Powerful, yet simple
NPoS has the advantage of requiring just a single input of each piece of key data within the solution. This enables the client to enter details within a section just once, and the system will check and populate each relevant field that requires the same information. This greatly reduces time and typing errors.
We also provide each new client with an excel spreadsheet with which they populate with the key data (Suppliers, Products, Pricing etc) before the system is installed and this is checked and imported by our pre-installation team prior to the solution being delivered.
